My name is Ansel Lindner. I've been involved with Bitcoin for over 6 years. Currently, I'm the host of the podcast Bitcoin & Markets. My studies have included degrees in Economics and Math and a Masters in Business, but the last 5 years I've dedicated to studying Bitcoin and the industry.
This fundraiser is to sponsor the book I'm writing with the working title The Origins of Money: Instinct to Bitcoin. Money has a long and cloudy pre-history. Writers of the Austrian School of Economics have written about the origins of money (Carl Menger) and the monetization of an asset (Ludwig Von Mises' Regression Theorem), but they didn't have information from as ancient a history as we do today. Nick Szabo has written many things on this pre-history of money and he played a large role in my understanding of the topic. In this book, I add my own insights and relate it to gold and bitcoin directly.
